Welcome!
I write about movies, TV shows, music and books that I think you should love as much as I do!
I also write and publish articles about independent/new/up-and-coming musicians, filmmakers and self-published authors to help get eyes on their new projects. Whether they’re from New Zealand or beyond!
This is my favourite thing to use Film Freak for because I love to write about artists’ passions. It gives them another touch-point for people to find their work on Google searches, and an authentic post for them to share on their socials. I mean, who doesn’t want someone talking about their work?!
Film Freak is dedicated to being the first, small step toward artists getting their big break down the road.

ABOUT

Hey! I’m Jodie. I live in New Zealand and have been running this blog since 2012 to geek out about music, movies and books that I love. (It means I don’t annoy everyone around me by babbling on about them!)
This is a passion project – I love promoting indie artists, writers and filmmakers.
Feel free to get in touch if you’d like to be featured. I have set up a dedicated website to managing enquiries for marketing help.
