New Movies Arriving in 2026 (and 2027)

Here you have it folks. The new movies coming our way for 2026!

• The Devil Wears Prada 2 (May 2026)
  I mean… you obviously know about this one already. Who isn’t psyched for this?
• Toy Story 5 (June 2026)
  Before you ask, ‘no’, we don’t have too many Toy Story movies. Since when are they ever not amazing?
• The Odyssey (July 2026)
  Christopher Nolan’s large-scale epic already being positioned as the year’s cinematic centrepiece. Because… It’s Nolan, who never does anything by halves (or within a regular-length movie). So go for a wee, grab your snacks and buckle up!
• Spider-Man: Brand New Day (July 2026)
  A highly anticipated movie that fans are pumped for.
  I am not one of these fans, sadly.
• The Mandalorian & Grogu (May 2026)
  Don’t know what it is? It’s a Star Wars thing, don’t worry.
• Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow (June 2026)
  Yet another superhero movie. Not super psyched for this, but I know I’m in the minority here.
• Minions 3 (July 2026)
  Judging by the merch I see everywhere, the kids love it!
• Moana (July-ish maybe!)
  I’m so here for this live-action version!
• Michael (Michael Jackson biopic) (April 2026)
  Did you grimace too? Yeah, but it’s set to be a controversial hit.
• Project Hail Mary (March 2026)
  This is already out – featuring heart-throb Ryan Gosling… In space. Is anyone free to babysit the kids? I wanna go see this please!
• Jumanji 3 (December 2026)
  Did we need a third one? No. Are we gonna watch it and chuckle a few times anyway? Yes. Yes, definitely.
• The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping (Nov 2026)
  All about our main man Haymitch and his time in the Game. Here for it.
• Avengers: Doomsday (Dec 2026)
  Again, a no from me. But I know you guys are keen.

Deja vu? Yeah, me too. There are a lot of remakes and sequels in the pipeline. But since 2020, this is kind of the best we can hope for.

Still, I’m just happy movies are still in business. Kinda!
